This policy explains what personal data KALATECH CONSULTING SRL (“kaladev”, “we”) collects when you use kaladev.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the GDPR.

What we collect and why
When you email us. If you contact us through the email link, we receive your email address, your name (if you give it), and whatever you put in your message. We use Google Workspace to handle this correspondence. We use it only to reply and, where relevant, to take steps toward a possible engagement. Legal basis: steps at your request prior to a contract and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
When you book a call. Booking runs through Cal.com. You provide your name, email, and scheduling details (plus anything you add in the booking form). We use it to arrange and hold the call, with appointment details stored in Google Calendar. Cal.com processes booking data on our behalf as a processor. Legal basis: steps at your request prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Hosting and security. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard technical data (such as IP address, request metadata, and approximate location) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning site (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Website measurement. We rely on Cloudflare's server-side hosting and security traffic statistics, which can include automated requests from crawlers and bots. We do not run browser analytics or measure your clicks or scrolling. We do not use advertising pixels or session recordings.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not set tracking or advertising cookies. When you change the theme, we store
your light/dark theme preference (kaladev-theme) in
session storage for that browser tab. It is not sent to us or used to identify you.
It lasts for the tab session, including page reloads; you can remove it by closing
the tab or clearing the site's browser data. Without a saved choice, the site follows
your device's light/dark preference.
Who we share data with
We don’t sell your data. We use these providers to operate the site and handle enquiries and appointments:
- Cloudflare — hosting, security, and traffic statistics
- Cal.com — call scheduling
- Google Workspace — email correspondence and Google Calendar appointments; data-processing terms
Each provider acts under its own terms and, where required, a data-processing agreement.
International transfers
Cloudflare, Cal.com, and Google operate internationally and may process data outside the EU/EEA. Their privacy information and data-processing terms, linked above, describe their data handling and transfer arrangements. You can contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking data for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting engagement, and to meet legal or accounting obligations, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email [email protected].
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP — dataprotection.ro.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
